I am so sorry to hear about Ken's passing. I will always be grateful to him for giving me the opportunity to intern in the Kansas Senate while I was still an undergraduate at KU. I learned so much from that experience and will always remember him has a funny and gracious person.

Ken had the nicest personality - sweet, funny and very kind. One of those you could never dislike. He was multi-talented, (he shared his cd with us,) and very much a "people" person. I enjoyed my days working with him at Morgan-McJilton. Was shocked to hear of his passing. I will keep your family in prayer - that you will be comforted.

Dearest Everell,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. I had no idea that your husband was such a dedicated public servant. Bless him for giving so much to so many. You must have had a very interesting and meaningful life together. I am so glad you are surrounded by a large loving family. You too are blessed. I have always admired you and the fun and laughter you bring to our reunions. What a special person you are! I still remember what a joy you were from our early Sunday school days and of course all through our regular schooling. Thoughts of you always bring a smile to my heart. I hate it that now you are facing the loss of your longtime love and the sadness that brings. I send you love, my friend.
