Kevin L. Jones

Kevin Lawrence Jones was born October 9, 1963 to the late Charles Lawrence Jones Sr. and Helen Delores Jones in Wichita, Kansas. Kevin was a happy child and gave his life to Christ at an early age. He attended North Ash Church of the Nazarene and had a love for the choir, usher board, playing in skits and often attended youth programs. He graduated from South High School with honors.

Kevin had the pleasure of serving his country in the United States Army, to include a tour in the Gulf War, Desert Storm. He dedicated his life to service at the Department of Veteran Affairs in several hospitals across the United States, to include a stellar career as an Associate Human Capital Officer.

Kevin was loved by many. His great selfless need to help others, his positive outlook on life and constant inspiration will be greatly missed.

His immediate family shares heartfelt gratitude to his close and dearest friends, Anita Rolfe, Von Walden and Sharon Pollock; his Director, Leslie B. Wiggins, work family, friends and neighbors, for their constant presence during every step of his journey.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Charles Lawrence Jones and Helen Delores Jones, his sister Bernadette Marie Jones and his grandmother, Helen Cecil Smith, and Patricia A. Jackson.

Kevin leaves to cherish memories, brothers; Darrell Ray Jackson and Charles Lawrence Jones Jr., sister Debra Lynn Jackson; nephew, Titus Jackson; nieces, Julianna F. Jackson and Promise S. Jackson; grandniece, Tyra Lynn Jackson and an unmeasurable amount of loved ones.

Pallbearers will be Darrell R. Jackson, Charles L. Jones Jr., Titus J. Jackson, and Deon Mac.

Memorials can be made to North Ash Church of the Nazarene in Kevin's name. 1245 N. Ash, Wichita.
