Briggs, Maud “Maudie”, 83, loving mother, grandmother and office manager for Briggs Garage and Welding, went to be with her Lord and Savior July 8, 2013. Maudie was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Briggs; daughter, Karen DeLynn Claassen; sister, Carrie Mae. She is survived by her son, Calvin (Janice) Briggs of Wichita; brother, Jim McBee of Wilcox, AZ; sister, Peggy Boatwright of Bartow, FL; twin sister, Betty Hoelting of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Kendra DeLynn Briggs, Casey James Briggs, Michael Beryl Howe (Traci Lynn Truesdell) and great grandchildren, Dylan Briggs Howe, Selbi Truesdell. Visitation with family present is 6 to 8 pm Thursday and funeral service is 10:00 am Friday, July 12 at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorials may be sent to Alzheimer’s Association and Northwest. Y.M.C.A.
