OBITUARY

Ladetra "Dede" Powell

June 19, 1980June 19, 2020

LaDetra "Dede" Kay Powell was born on June 19, 1980 in Winfield, KS and died on June 19, 2020 in Wichita, KS. Dede's life's journey ended suddenly and unexpectedly on her birthday at the age of 40 years young. An angel whose life was taken too soon. Dede was a devoted mother of her 3 children: Gideon, Bella and Aaryan. Dede lived vicariously through them and there was not anything in this entire world she would not do for her children. She adored and loved them fiercely. Dede will live on in their hearts. Dede was a woman of principle, a free spirit who stood up for what she believed, and if Dede did not agree with you, she would share her thoughts, most definitely. Dede was kindhearted, honest, courageous and bestowed a sense of fairness. Dede's empathy towards others surpasses the highest mountains and she loved hard. The love Dede had for her sister, LaTisha was something fierce. She missed her sister immeasurable and talked about LaTisha on many occasions. When Dede saw butterflies, she knew her sister was near. Dede is proceeded in death by her grandmother, Marjorie Basore; grandfather, Don Basore; sister LaTisha Powell; and infant brother, William Powell. Survived by husband, Pavan Reddy Pandri; son, Gideon Powell Frankenstein; daughter, Isabella Powell Pandri; son Aaryan Powell Pandri; parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, many family members and beloved friends. There are those that leave an everlasting imprint in our hearts and Dede is on of those people. We Love You Dede and you will be missed immensely.

A sweet soul who for many years was my sons' best friend. She was our family and we loved her. I got the first call when her sister passed away. I made her wedding cake the first time. I was getting ready to come see her and this horrific thing happened. I will truly never forgive myself for not getting there sooner. I know you are flying with angels my love. You will always have a special place in my heart. My deepest sympathethies to her husband, three children, parents and family and friends. Life will never be the same. Rest in peace in the arms of Jesus. Until we meet again.
