Lajuana J. Flynn

Lajuana June Flynn, 83, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at The Stratford House - Home Plus in Wichita, Kansas. Lajuana was born February 5, 1939 in Childress, Texas, the daughter of Wesley M. and Trudie Ophelia (Chewning) Ulmer. She attended Excelsior High School, and graduated on June 15th, 1956. Lajuana was united in marriage to Franklin Delano Flynn on July 3rd, 1958. She loved to dance, socialize, and most importantly spend time with her family and neighbors. Lajuana was a devoted mother and loving grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin and her son, Jarrett Flynn. She is survived by her family Virgil Reed, Janella “JJ” Flynn, Emmett Williams and grandson, Dallas Gray. Cremation has been effected. Visitation for Lajuana with family present will be held Monday, January 23, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Wichita, 4408 W. Central Avenue, Wichita, KS 67212, followed by a Memorial Service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted with Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Wichita.
