Obituary of Larry Glenn
Larry Glenn, age 73, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022. Larry was born June 17, 1948 to Alva and Ella Glenn in Pratt, Kansas. Larry joined the United States Army National Guard on September 2, 1970. While in the military he graduated from Fort Hays State where he obtained his bachelors degree in business. On March 4th, 1989 Larry married Carol and they spent 33 very happy years together. Larry retired from Bank of America after 30 years in 2002. For the last 14 years Larry was very active in the HOA where both he and Carol live. He enjoyed traveling, playing the slot machines and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Carol; 4 children Carrie (Josh) Hood, Tracee (Ralph Cochran) Meents, Christy (Larry) Clark, and Kim (Rob) Blagg; 7 grandchildren Tiffany, Jacob,Logan, Joshua, Dakota, Tatum, and Rayce (The oldest and the youngest grandchildren are 30 years apart) ; 3 great-grandchildren Tyler, Kaiden, Malakhi, Ryder, and Olivia; 1 sister Pam (Leslie) Jenkins and a host of other family. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Society and Diabetes Association. A visitation will be held Thursday May 12, 2022 from 5 p.m.- 7p.m, a funeral will be held Friday May 13, 2022 at 3 p.m both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. A graveside will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
