Larry Mast

Larry joined the Navy in 1957 where he was aboard the USS Chemung A0-30, as well as stationed in Midway Island, Pearl Harbor, Long Beach and China Lake, CA. He met his wife Pat while stationed at China Lake. He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic, water treatment plant operator, and also worked the Willards, MD family farm.

Larry and his wife Pat lived in many locations: Wichita, KS., Lakewood, CA., Springfield, MO., Salisbury, MD., Willards, MD., Grants Pass, OR., Midland, TX., Tahlequah, OK., Riverside, CA., and Jurupa Valley, CA.; making good friends and very happy memories for all of their children. Larry enjoyed designing, he enjoyed mechanical and wood type hobbies, he loved Elvis movies and music, classical hymns, singing, dancing, raising farm animals, figuring out how to relocate, add on to a house, or simply making things work with minimal cost. Later he enjoyed video poker and puzzles, but will be remembered most fondly for picking, ear biting and tormenting.

Proceeding him in death were his parents, Don and Clara Mast and his loving wife of 42 years, Patricia Mary Mast (Albert).

His memory is kept on by his; daughter, Tina Dupree of Jurupa Valley, CA.; son, Larry Mast, Jr. (Rhonda) of Eustace, TX.; son, Timothy Mast, Sr. (Donna) of Jurupa Valley, CA,; daughter, Kimberly Coffman of Cordell, OK.; son, Shawn Bishop (Charlyn) of Riverside, CA.; and son, Chris Bishop of Fruitland, MD. His siblings of Wichita, KS: sister, Ruby Ast (Ken); brother, Don Mast (Linda); brother, Bill Mast (Katie); and sister, Louise Kabler (Don). His grandchildren are Tabitha (Chase), Donovan, Chad, B.J., Bryan, Kristina (David), Joe (Mindy), Nick (Ashley), Tim Jr (Eli), Katie, Don (Danielle), Brittany (Gabe), Cameron (Lindy), Kodie (Mariah) Christopher Jr., and William. His Great Grandchildren are Jade, Ryder, Kali, Makenzie, Maison, Nicholas, Oliver, Madison, Grant, Ruby, Violet, Hazel, Lucy, Autumn, Keigan, Hunter, Rylan, Jacie, Kyler, and Alessa.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2022 at Resthaven Mortuary chapel, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
