Laura R. Russell, 87, passed away on March 17, 2021. She was born on December 12, 1933 to James and Lizzie (Mays) Tosh in Huntsville, AL. Laura, a member at the Berean Assembly Church, was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters. Laura is survived by her sons, David and Tommy Potts of Wichita, KS; siblings, Christine Casteel of Hayti, MO, Henry Tosh of South Haven, MI, Bobby (Betty) Tosh of Bangor, MI, and Linda Johnston of Cedar Park, TX; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A come and go visitation will be from 1PM-3PM, Friday, March 19, 2021, with Funeral Service 10AM, Saturday, March 20, 2021, both at Resthaven Mortuary. Burial will follow the service in Resthaven's Garden of Prayer. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Laura's memory can be made to American Heart Association, 1861 N. Rock Rd #380, Wichita, KS 67206.
