Abe and I worked together for only a couple of years but he was was a good friend and would call me about once a week to talk about all that was going on at Cessna.  I hadnt got a phone call in a couple of weeks so I thought I would see if I could find out how he was doing and unfortunately found out that he had passed away.  I want to pass on my sincerest apology for missing this and also my sympathies to the family.  I will miss those 30 to 45 minute phone calls every week or two and will miss Abes friendship.  

My heartfelt sympathies to the family during this difficult time...May your fondest memories bring you joy and may prayers to the God of all comfort strengthen you.

I met Lavoy a few times in the 1970's. I remember him as a friendly man that was always ready to be helpful with electrical question on Jaguar.  RIP Lavoy.

From Cousin Jan in Montana: Although La Voy was much older than Robert and I, I do have some faint memories of all of us at Grandma Abel's House too.  I loved her yard and a garden and am sure LaVoy and I shared some times with her there. From Sister, Sharon;  LaVoy was 11 years older than me, so not much of a playmate, but I always called him my GOOD brother! Lots of memories no one else has. When I was a baby in my high chair, he would sit beside me and play harmonica for me.  I recall him scaling the ceiling of our barn to tie a rope swing in the middle.  What a total blast that swing was for many years. When I started 1st grade, he drove our other brother and me to school in his first car, a very gassy Model A.  But he never would let me ride in the rumble seat!
