Gray, Lawrence “Larry”, 91, retired petroleum geologist passed away Nov. 9, 2010. Larry was a 32nd Degree Mason, past director of Oriental Band at Midian Shrine, past patron of Rose Douglas Chapter Eastern Star and proud WWII Army veteran who landed on Omaha Beach and Battle of The Bulge. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia in 2007 and brothers Wayne, Howard, and Elvie Gray. Survivors are son Larry J. (Margaret) of Salem, UT; daughter Patty (Jim) Marlett of Wichita; brother Pete Gray of Lake Forest CA; grandchildren Mike (Kristen) Marlett, Chris Marlett, William (Carly) Gray, Larry Gray and Stephanie (Nick) Stark. Viewing is Sunday 12 to 8 pm with family receiving 6 to 7 pm and funeral service is 10:00 am Monday, Nov. 15 at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel. Memorials in lieu of flowers with Wichita Audubon Society.
