Lawrence Hernandez

Lawrence Hernandez, age 66, of Wichita, Kansas. He was born on June 1, 1959, in Rocky Ford, Colorado, to Antonio and Luciana Hernandez and passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, June 28, 2025.

Lawrence was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather and great-grandfather. He leaves behind his beloved wife, his five children, fifteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters and two brothers, who will forever cherish his memory

Lawrence was a loyal and devoted Jehovah’s Witness. He dedicated his life to Jehovah through baptism on June 14, 1986 From that day forward, he found great joy in faithfully preaching the good news of Jehovah, and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Lawrence continued this ministry with love, up until his final days. He was also privileged to serve as a Ministerial Servant in the congregation, a role he cherished deeply as it allowed him to support and serve his spiritual brothers and sisters.

In addition to being a family man and his love for Jehovah, he enjoyed the outdoors, camping, volleyball, bowling, horseshoes, golf, karaoke, watching sports and playing cards with family and friends.

A Memory service for Lawrence will be held Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3040 Jackson N Ave, Wichita, KS 67204.
