Leo went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 27, 2022. He was born on March 11, 1945 in Wichita, KS. In 1969, he graduated from Wichita State University with a degree in Business Administration. Leo worked as a Sales Engineer at Murdock Industrial Supply until his retirement and served on the Board of Wichita Manufacturers Association as an Audit and Prize Chair. He also was a member of Sharon Baptist Church.
Leo was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Helsel and his parents, Ruth and Leo R. Helsel, Sr. He is survived by his daughter Andrea Tiday; his brother, Robert O. Helsel (Kris) and his sister, Susan Ahrens.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Resthaven Mortuary & Resthaven Gardens of Memory in the Garden of the Christus, 11800 West US-54, Wichita, KS.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to, Sharon Baptist Church, 2221 S. Oliver Ave.,
