Peterson, Leonard V. “Pete,” 93, retired VA Social Worker, passed away on April 1, 2014. “Pete” was born on February 20, 1921 in Magna, Utah to Leonard A. and Reta (Alldredge) Peterson. He served his country in the U.S Army during WW II and achieved the rank of Tech 4th Grade. He is survived by his wife, Mary of Wichita; his sons, Don (Diana) Peterson, Ken Peterson, both of Wichita; daughters, Linda (Russ) Aley of Houston, TX, Mary (Larry) Robb of Wichita; brothers, Leroy (Mary Lu) Peterson of Salt Lake City, UT., Ken Peterson of Hurricane, UT; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
A Time of Remembrance will be shared with the family on Saturday, April 5th, from 11 a.m. until 12 noon at Hillside Funeral Home East.
