Leslie Marie Holbrook

Leslie Marie Holbrook, at 60 years of age; entered her heavenly home on September 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 5, 1964 in Colorado Springs, CO, Leslie lived a life marked by kindness, faith, and unwavering love for those around her.

Married on July 16, 1988, to Reed Edwin Holbrook, together they built a beautiful life filled with devotion, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Leslie was a proud and loving mother to her two children, Jackson Holbrook and Jamison Holbrook, who were the light of her life.

A gifted and passionate educator, Leslie touched the lives of countless children as a beloved 3rd grade teacher. Her greatest reward was seeing her students thrive and grow. She was admired for the genuine care she extended to every child she taught.

Leslie had a zest for life and many joys that made her who she was. She loved to sing, shop, and travel.

Leslie's greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and sister. She is always placing her loved ones above herself. Her warmth, laughter, and selflessness will be forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, Chuck and Alice Oakley; along with her brother, Fred Oakley.

She is survived by: her husband, Reed Holbrook; her son, Jackson Holbrook; her daughter, Jamison Holbrook; her mother-in-law, Judy Holbrook; her siblings, Sue (George) Wilson, Eric (Kathy) Oakley, Jody (Tom) Briceland and Jenny Oakley; her nieces and nephews, Jill (Jeff) Jachimek, Jacy (Steve) Silveri, Ricky Oakley, Briggs Oakley, Tommy Oakley, Allie (Tyson) Tompkins, Jordan (Brandy) Briceland, Ashley Hutchison, Hailey (Darren) Greiving, Zachary Hutchison, Jacy Holbrook, Josie Holbrook, Kyle (Sheree) Holbrook, and Travis (Austin) Holbrook.

Leslie will be remembered as the best of us - loving, compassionate, and a true light in this world. Her memory will forever be cherished.

Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Pathway Church, 2001 North Maize Road, Wichita, Kansas 67212. Send all flower arrangements directly to the church.
