Lynde, Lester “Les”, 74, owner of Aerospace Material Service, passed away August 17, 2014. Les spent 4 years serving in the Army, was a member of the American Legion, an avid golfer, fisherman and hunter. He was a generous, caring and loving man to his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his son, Anthony Lynde; parents, Vernon and Dorothy Lynde and brother, LaVerne Lynde. Les is survived by his wife of 34 years, Debbie; son, Curtis Lynde; daughter, Amy Huffman; step-daughter, Michelle Rosenboom; brother, Bob Lynde; sisters, Patty Dufield, Clara Mae Linke and grandchildren, Zachary Huffman, Isaac Huffman, Hannah Huffman, Jordan Oliphant and Garret Oliphant. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 20 from 5-7 PM. Funeral service is Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 10:00 AM, both at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorials have been established with American Heart Association and Kansas Humane Society.
