Harris, Lewis Leon, “Doc”, age 93, beloved husband, grandfather and great grandfather passed away Feb. 15, 2011. He was a US Army WWII veteran, honored with the Silver Star, the Bronze Star, and a Purple Heart, he parachuted in ahead of the troop landings on D-Day with the 507th Airborne. He was a tool and die maker at Cessna and Boeing, known for his attention to precision and a member of the Scottish Rite Consistory, Albert Pike Lodge. Born to Buna and Henry Harris in Crystal Falls, TX, Oct. 17, 1917. Survivors include his wife Louie Harris, daughters Pat (Joshua) Harris-Mostowitz and Nancy (Larry) Thurston, grandsons Lloyd (Jennifer) Holley, Michael and Matthew Mostowitz, step great grandson Tristin Reasoner and great granddaughter Alyvia Holley, nephews Jerry and Robert Borrer. Visitation Fri. 5 to 7 pm and funeral service 10:00 am Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011 at Resthaven Mortuary.
