Liette Marie Hull, 90, passed away surrounded by love on August 29th. She was born April 27th, 1936 in Montreal, Canada. As a young girl, she moved with her family to a dairy farm in Vermont. She loved to share stories about her time growing up there like the horse and buggy she took to the small school house, drinking milk straight from the cows, and making mischief with her brothers. In the 1950’s their family moved a final time and settled at home in Wichita, KS.
At 23 years old she met the love of her life Gene Hull on a blind date, and married him soon after. Over 61 years together they raised 3 kids and built their life, including multiple homes. Though Liette occasionally worked throughout her life, her happiest “job” was always taking care of children. Whether it was her daycare, the holidays, or even just a sleepover, nothing brought her more joy than a house full of children. She was a selfless woman who showed all of her family what unconditional love truly is.
Liette was preceded in death by: husband, Clyde “Gene” Hull; her parents, Paul & Elgea Martin; 3 brothers, & her sister.
Liette is survived by: her 3 children, Denise Dominick, Gene Hull Jr, Lisa Sprouse; Grandchildren, Carrie Arnold, Tabitha Gonzalez, Melissa Dominick, Mark Gilliland, Jacob Gilliland, Austin Gilliland, Bradley Gilliland, Ryan Sprouse, Brennon Hull; many great grandchildren; and two brothers.
