Lillian "Trudy" Gertrude Riddle, age 88, of Haysville, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. Trudy was born May 13, 1934 in her family home to Wesley and Pauline Stephens in Wichita, Kansas. She was one of five siblings.
Trudy worked for the City of Wichita for 10 years and later worked as a Data Entry clerk for Boeing for 27 years and later retired in 1992.
Trudy married the love of her life Robert L. Riddle on May 23, 1981. Together they shared five children Rhonda, Paula, Karen, John, and Jennifer.
She was an active member with Ninnescah Chapter #423, Clearwater Order of Eastern Star and a Past Grand Worthy Matron of Kansas. She also was a Past State Mother Advisor with the Order of Rainbow Girls.
Trudy enjoyed attending her grandchildrens activities and spending time with them. She loved being outside and gardening and also traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert L. Riddle, sister Jessie Marie Brown, and brother Wesley Stephens.
Survived by 2 daughters Rhonda (Greg) Weidner, Paula (Mark) Richards; 3 step-children Karen (Dale) Messer, John (Roseanne) Riddle, Jennifer Montgomery all of Alabama; 2 siblings Elizabeth Stephens, and Mary K. Riordan; 15 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Friday, October 21, 2022 from 5p.m-7p.m at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 3p.m with a graveside service to follow both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
