Lillian retired from Sedgwick County Central Services. She enjoyed doing yoga in her earlier years, painting, and loved going to family events. Lillian was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Warden and Mable Malone; husband, John Stroud; son, Alan Stroud; brother, Warren (Dorothy) Malone; and sister, Marion (Don) Kelley.
Lillian is survived by her sons, Dan (Virginia) Stroud and Dave (Michelle) Stroud; daughters, Diane (Dave) Delzer and Jayne (Ulf) Thornqvist; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Darlene (Jack) McGuire; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Funeral Service for Lillian will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 31st, with visitation one hour prior from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at Lakeview Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Lakeview Cemetery in the Garden of Everlasting Life, 12100 East 13th Street North, Wichita, Kansas 67206.
