Preceded in death by her father, Gean Ray Brown; mother, Alma Nadine Dater; and brothers, Gean Ray Brown and Roger "The Dodger" Brown. She is survived by husband, Tom H. Fender III (Wichita); brother, John Dater (Sedgwick); and sister, Candy Mogul (Kansas City).
Linda had been a Leather upholsterer at Cessna Aircraft for several years; then was a long time postal clerk at Chisholm Station and Downtown Station in Wichita for much of her 37 year career with the US Postal Service. She loved her customers and had many who waited in line longer just to get her window. She especially loved to give small children a "little present" when they came in with their mom or dad and were a little scared of the Post Office and their Uniforms; after that, they couldn't wait to go to the Post Office. Linda was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed. Godspeed Linda.
