Lionel Lynn Stilwell

Lionel Lynn Stilwell, 59, loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. He was born December 9, 1965, in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Elmer Eugene and Della Lee (Wallace) Stilwell.

Lionel was employed with the City of Wichita for 36 years, where he was the Supervisor of the Maintenance Department.

Lionel was a huge sports enthusiastic and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan; as well as racing at the 81 speedway stock car division for 11 years. His biggest joy was to spend time with his daughters and grandkids.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Elmer and Della Stilwell; and 4 siblings, Leon, Elven, Raina, and Daniel.

He is survived by: his daughters, Ashley Lynn Stilwell and Jessica Lee Stilwell; his grandchildren, Braxton Jay, Cami Raylynn, Zariyah Lee, Zayden Lee, and Declan Zane; his brothers, Dale, Dewain, Eldon, Larry, and Eric Stilwell; his sisters, Ronda (Stilwell) Oakley and Nina (Stilwell) Collins; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Cremation has been chosen. Celebration of Life Service will be held 4:00 PM on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Reliance Community Church, 11910 West Pawnee Street, Wichita, Kansas 67215.
