Lois N. Barth

Barth, Lois N., 88, of Wichita, Kansas passed away Wed. June 29, 2016 at her home surrounded by family in Wichita. Lois was born on March 25, 1928 in Conway Springs, Kansas the daughter of Homer and Velma (Trollope) Harris. Lois and Laurence “Sonny” Barth were united in marriage on Sept. 14, 1947 in Wellington, KS. Together they celebrated 50 years of marriage before his passing in 1998. Lois retired after 22 years as a Marketing Sales Manager with Great Plains Industries. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Dr. Jesse L. Harris. Survivors include her loving companion Cecil Berry of Norco, CA, children, Craig (Valerie) Barth of Wichita, Larry (Christine) Barth of El Dorado, grandchildren, Clayton (Katie) Barth of Wichita, Michelle (Kenny) Linson of El Dorado, Jimmy (April) Smith of Augusta and 6 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be 10am on Tues. July 5, 2016 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market St., Wichita.
