Lucille H Johnson

Lucille Hermina Johnson, 95, of Goddard Kansas, entered eternal rest on January 30, 2025. Born on July 16, 1929, in Altus Arkansas to parents John L. and Sophie P. (Sax) Post. Lucille was the fourth youngest of 13 siblings. She graduated High School at Scholastica in 1947. She would go on to marry the love of her life Byron Keith Johnson on November 26, 1951, and celebrated a loving 63 years until his death in 2014. She and Byron were dedicated and devoted members of St. Anne Catholic Church.

Preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, and siblings, Cletus Post, Louis Post, Martha Hoyle, Norbert Post, Rita Evans, George Post, Fronie Evans, Bertha Meyer, Alfred Post, and Gert Vaught. She is survived by her Sisters, Hermina Faulk and Trenna Krammers, Children Bruce (Becky) Johnson, Gwen (Rick) Thome, Carol Unruh, Keith (Karen) Johnson, Kent (Margie) Johnson, Janelle (Steven) Marshall, 15 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.

A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will take place on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 7 PM at St. Anne Catholic Church located at 2801 S. Seneca Wichita, KS 67217. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 10 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church. Burial and Final Resting Place will follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum located at 610 S. Vassar St., Wichita, KS 67218.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations to be made to St. Anne Catholic Church located at 2801 S. Seneca, Wichita, KS 67217.
