Lura May (Bishop) Hartzell passed away June 18, 2018 at the age of 91. Surviving family members include son Robin, and his daughter Willa Shelton (Both of Wichita) and daughter Patricia Peterson of Lenexa KS, four granddaughters and seven great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband William (Bill), son Phillip Hartzell and daughter Frieda Dick. May will be remembered as a loving wife and mother cherished for her kindness, creativity and deeply-held Christian Faith. She worked as a homemaker, secretary, bookkeeper and Avon sales representative. She also loved art and painting, especially landscapes. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Friday at Advantage Funeral Home. Her funeral will be held at 11 am Saturday at Pathway Church, followed by a burial service at White Chapel memorial Gardens.
