Marcella enjoyed sewing and knitting different hats; and held a membership with the American Legion Auxiliary #419, 8/40 Salon 369, the Eastern Star, the DAVA, along with the VFW Post #3115. She volunteered her time to helping others, especially with the Veterans around the Wichita area. Marcella's biggest joy was to spend time with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Cyrus and Helen Fickle; her husbands, Christopher Wells and Reid Storey; her daughter, Janet Mallinson; her son-in-law, Robert Mallinson; her siblings, Helen "Pat" O'Connell, James R. Fickle, Jack (Virginia) Fickle, Nancy (Don) Landanger, Richard (Jackie) Fickle, Charles "Bud" (Mary) Fickle, Babe Fickle, Peggy Fickle, and Dolly Noe.
She is survived by: her granddaughter, Shannon (Andrew Kiefer) Mallinson; her grandson, Bryan Mallinson; her great-granddaughter, Cheyanne Mallinson; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation & Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM ~ 3:00 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025; Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM, both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Garden of Prayer, Wichita.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Marcella's name has been established with: VFW Post #3115, 4801 West Douglas Avenue, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
