

Carlton, Margaret M., 84, died Saturday Aug. 17, 2019. She was born Aug. 8, 1935 in Kirk Colo.. She was the 6th child of 10 for Tony and Josephine Strick, living on the family farm till she moved. In 1965 she married Harrison Carlton. She has 2 step daughters, Margo Crile and Randi Carlton, 1 grandson, Jason Crile (wife Danna) and 4 great grandchildren, Jackson, Sophia, Della and Frederick Crile. She worked for many years as a secretary at Fredrick's Plumbing and then as a dedicated member of Al-Anon for 47 years. Preceded in death by both parents, her husband, 2 brothers Arthur and Peter Strick (wife Dorothy), a sister Dorothy Carmack (husband George), 4 brother's in law James Smith, Charles Gulley, Stanley Roll, and Mervin Shrock and nephew Frank Debarea. Survivors: sisters Elizabeth (Gulley) Weingardt, Rose Smith, Mildred (Roll) Schrock, Mary Liming (husband Allen), Jennette King (husband Elmer), brother Jim Strick 9wife Maxine), sister in law Lola Strick. 3 Godchildren Peggy Debarea (also her caregiver), Mike Strick, and Jeremy King. There are nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to numerous to name and was loved by all. Rosary 7 pm Friday at Christ the King Catholic Church with services also at the church at 10 am on Saturday with graveside services at Resthaven Cemetery.
