She was born August 19, 1933 in Dodge City, KS.
She is preceded in death by parents, John and Elsie Lara and one brother Lawrence Lara.
She is survived by sons Michael (Ruth) Lara, John William (Melissa) Simpson, brothers Joseph (Ida) Lara of Wichita, Johnny (Elva) Lara of El Paso, TX, 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many extended family and friends.
Rosary 7pm, Tues. Feb. 21 at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Chapel. Funeral Mass 10am, Wed. Feb. 22 at Cathedral of Immaculate Conception in Good Shepherd Chapel with internment at 3pm at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City, KS.
