I  Always had a picture of Mary and her dogs up on the mirror in the salon one that people would ask about them are those your dogs no those are Mari Thomas's dogs. She always wanted as much blonde in her hair as possible. so one day....  when she asked for more blonde I said Mary we can't get it any more blonde, why don't we just go ahead & take your whole head blonde? So we did  & oh my GAWD it was terrible  I had to go back in and take  her root's brown, because it washed her out so bad. Love you Mari Thomas! Where ever you are....

I came to Wichita in late January with Vicki. We met up with Sue and had the best visit with Mari. We caught her up on our families but mostly we all talked about old memories. It was a GREAT day. Mari is missed.

Mari and I hadn't known each other very long, but I enjoyed every moment we shared! She moved into the assisted living community that I work at and didn't quite fit in with the other residents, probably because of the age gap between her and the others. I went ahead and started talking to her, to make her feel more welcome, and she reminded me so much of my mom! I took her to dialysis 3 times a week early in the mornings and we would have the best conversations! She was a great friend to have, and I was so sad when she moved away from the community, and even more sad to hear of her passing. My condolances go out to all of her family and friends.

I'll always remember sharing laughter and good times with you and Sharon. When I think of our days at North High I think about marching band and standing in the senior hall talking and laughing.  GodSpeed Mari and may you be at peace.

Mari, We never met but we talked a few times about our Mutual Love for Bichons. I will miss our chats. I know you are basking in the Love of Loved ones past and your Fur Angels are covering you with Kisses.. God Bless you and your Family

Marching band was always fun because I had friend like you and Sharon. We had so much fun. May god have a special place In heaven and a band to be part of. Hugs to you in heaven. 

Mari and I became best friends in middle school and remained best friends through high school. We took all the same classes including band and  Spanish. We had some great times and I have many memories of our shenanigans! May she Rest In Peace. Prayers and comfort for her family ❤️
