María fue la mejor madre, esposa y abuela que uno puede tener. Le gustaba coser y leer su Biblia. Le encantaba cocinar (era la mejor cocinera) porque eso siempre unía a su familia. Era una mujer muy amable, paciente, perdonadora y cariñosa. Ella amaba a Dios y a su familia por encima de cualquier cosa y no importaba lo difícil que fuera el día, siempre se aseguraba de que supiéramos que nos amaba.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Feliciano y Brígida y su hermana Guadalupe.

Quienes quedan para honrar su memoria son: su esposo, Heliodoro; sus hermanas: Esperanza, Ofelia y Elisa; su hermano José; su hija Guadalupe; sus hijos: Carlos, Jorge, Alejandro y Rafael; 15 nietos y 1 bisnieta

El servicio funebre se llevará a cabo el miércoles 3 de abril de 2024 de 7:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m. en la Primera Iglesia Bautista Fundamental de Wichita, 1127 S Dodge Ave, Wichita, KS 67213, seguido inmediatamente de una celebración de vida.

Se llevará a cabo un servicio junto a la tumba el jueves 4 de abril de 2024 a las 10:00 a. m. en Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Garden of Mediation, Lote 7B, Espacio 4, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.

Maria Perez Montero De Covarrubias, 75, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 in Victorville, CA. She was born July 2, 1948 to Feliciano Perez Guzman and Brigida Montero Ocaranza.

Maria was the best mother, wife and grandmother one can have. She enjoyed sewing and reading her Bible. She loved cooking (she was the best cook) because that always brought her family together. She was a very kind, patient, forgiving and loving woman. She loved God and her family over anything and no matter how hard a day she was having, she always made sure we knew she loved us.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Feliciano and Brigida and her sister, Guadalupe.

Those left to honor her memory are: her husband, Heliodoro; her sister's: Esperanza, Ofelia and Elisa; her brother, Jose; her daughter, Guadalupe; her sons: Carlos, Jorge, Alejandro and Rafael; and 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Primera Iglesia Bautista Fundamental de Wichita, 1127 S Dodge Ave, Wichita, KS 67213.

A graveside service will occur Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Garden of Mediation, Lot 7B, Space 4, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
