Marie E. Harville

Marie (Betsy) E. Harville, 67, passed away on November 3, 2020.

She was born on April 26, 1953 in Sterling, Kansas, to Neil and Rita Thomas.

David and Marie Harville married August 6, 1994 in Wichita, Kansas. Camping, sailing, and reading were activities she enjoyed. Marie also found joy in collecting antiques. She had different volunteer endeavors working with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children) and child support enforcement legislation. She was also involved in Christian ministries helping women and children. In 2000, she gave her life to Jesus. Essential oils was a secondary small business endeavor for her.

She is survived by her husband David, sons Neil (Elaine) White, Grant (Tami) Harville, Carrl Lee White, Ben (Janet) Harville; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers John Thomas, Terry Thomas, Steve Thomas.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Lakeview Funeral Home beginning at 9 a.m., Celebration of Life Service will follow at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Garden of Meditation.

Marie, you always had a smile and a kind word. Your love of gardens and flowers was contagious. I will miss seeing all the projects you completed or the flowers you grew. Right now, you are teaching everyone about gardens, as you have been rewarded the biggest and best one. May you rest in heaven. Prayers for your family.
