She was born December 31,1931 to Martin and Florence Holmes in Wichita, Kansas.
Marilyn was a homemaker and a nanny. She also was a secretary for Dulaney Johnston and Priest.
In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and scrapbooking and was a devoted member of Metropolitan Baptist Church.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers: Carl, Wayne, and Leroy; and her husband, Charles Francis.
She is survived by her 3 sons: Robert (Lisa) Francis, Keith Francis and Edward Francis; and 2 granddaughters, Sarah E. Francis and Grace C. Francis, all of Wichita, Kansas.
There will be a come and go visitation June 18, 2024, 4-7 pm, with family present, 11800 W. Highway 54 Wichita, Kansas, 67209.
