Marilyn Michels Murphy, age 82, passed away on March 5, 2021. She was born March 23, 1938 to Victor and Verna Michels. Marilyn was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed. Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Dallas Murphy and daughter, Kathryn Fae Raftery. Marilyn leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Victoria Lynne (Cris) Hannu, Paul Donald (Kim) von Mosch, Cynthia Marie Fleming and Douglas Glenn (Rhonda) von Mosch; brother, Jerome (Carol) Michels; grandchildren, Amanda Thompson, Sabrina Thompson, Shanda (Nick) Sparling, Zack von Mosch and Ashley von Mosch; great grandchildren, Isis Hannu, Kaeden Popken and Keirra Popken; along with nieces, Dawn (John) Gillespie, Karen (John) Dudgeon and Diane (Schaun) Schofield. A come and go visitation will be available from 1PM to 5PM, Thursday, March 11, at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral service will be held 10AM, Friday, March 12, at Ascension Lutheran Church.
