Marjorie Grace Cox, (September 25th, 1925 - January 13th, 2011) Marjorie graduated from Wesley School of Nursing in 1947 and worked for the doctors at Hillside Medical Office until she became a mother. In the early 1960s she returned to school, earning a bachelor degree and a master degree from Wichita State University in education. She taught second grade for 25 years in USD 259, most of them at Hyde Elementary. She was the widow of Maurice Cox to whom she was married for 52 years. She is survived by her son Stanley, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be Monday, January 17th at 11:00 AM. Hillside Funeral Home East.
