Marjorie M. Dawson

Dawson, Marjorie M., 89, went to be with Jesus Friday, January 14, 2011. She was born in Winfield, KS, August 4, 1921, the daughter of Charles & Beulah (Brooks) Smith. Preceded in death by her husband James E. Dawson, sibling’s infant Pauline, Dean, Carl, Wanda Jean, & Jim Smith. She is survived by brother’s Wayne, Gale & John Smith. Children: Jean (Jim) Morrow & Terry (Cyndi) Bunch, James Lee (Pat) Dawson, Kathy (Randy) Clark, Lani Benton, Cheryl Taylor & Cindy Sallee. Grandchildren: Kelly & Megan Bunch, Andy Snook, Heidi (Steve) Jordan, Andy (Tiffany) Morrow, Marc (Monica) Morrow, Scott (Jill) Morrow. Great Grandchildren: Jordan, Ryan, Chance, Shelbi, Stephen, Tom, Riley, Nick, Hailey, Ava & Taylor. Marge retired from KU Medical Center after 22 years of service as an EEG Technician. She enjoyed playing sports & reading, but most of all spending time with family & friends. There will be a viewing Tuesday January 18, from 9AM - 9PM at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W HWY 54, Wichita, KS. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 19, 10AM at Westside Free Will Baptist Church, 3310 W MacArthur, Wichita, KS. A memorial has been established with the Robert Dole VA Medical Center.
