Mark was born in Irvington, New Jersey, on July 27, 1953 to Georgianna and Richard Dobyns.
He grew up in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. He graduated from AUC Medical School and practiced internal medicine in St. Louis, Missouri for 17 years and in Wichita for 18 years. He retired in 2014.
Mark and Debbie (Christy) married on May 22, 1976 in Westfield, New Jersey and celebrated 44 years together.
He enjoyed woodworking, photography, traveling, designing his saltwater aquarium and his pups.
Mark is survived by his wife Debbie, sons Kevin, 27, and Scott, 23; father Richard Dobyns of Scotch Plains, New Jersey; siblings Lynn Dobyns of Lacrosse, Wisconsin, Rick Dobyns also of Lacrosse, Susan Barbato, Middlesex, New Jersey.
