Mark Wayne Scott, 61, loving father, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. He was born May 3, 1965, in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Jack C. and Cruz M. (Rodriguez) Scott.
Mark was the proud owner of Mobile Welding Services, LLC. During his free time, he enjoyed spending time at the lake, hunting and fishing. His biggest joy was to spend time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Jack and Cruz Scott; his daughter, Summer Dawn Scott; and his grandson, Tevin Collins.
He is survived by: his daughter, Sara Scott; his sons, Anthony and Isaac Scott; his grandchildren, Joseph Collins, Gabriel Collins, Deja Scott, Raelee Collins, Tarron Collins, Titas Collins, and Summer Grace; his great-grandson, IJ Scott; his siblings, Ruth (Roy) Bohlken, Carla Sherman, and Steve Scott; along with numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:30 PM ~ 8:30 PM on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Word of Life Church, 915 East 53rd Street North, Wichita, Kansas 67219. Interment will immediately follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Garden of Freedom, next to his beloved parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to: The Mark Scott Memorial Fund, in which all proceeds will be directed for his two sons and their future endeavors. All donations may be left in care of the mortuary.
