Martha Ruth Gordon 87, loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother passed away October 8, 2017. Martha was very active in church events and volunteering. She had great sense of humor and liked playing jokes on people and her husband. Martha loved her children and was actively involved in their lives. She was preceded by her husband of 61 years, Allen Leroy Gordon; infant son, Randy Gordon; parents, Kenneth C. and Pearl Rotenberry; and six sisters and one brother. Martha is survived by son, Jeff (Marilyn) Gordon; daughters, Cindy (Mike) Day and Wanda (Max) Koerner; brother, James (Peggy) Rotenberry and their family of Coldwater, Mississippi; grandchildren, Lance (Madi) Koerner and Lindsay (Jordan) Ball; great grandchildren, Rosie Jo Koerner and Evan Ball; and many other family members. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 13th at Resthaven Mortuary. A "Going Home" Celebration at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Parkview Baptist Church.
