96, ascended the stairs to Heaven March 23, 2017. She was passionate about reading and loved romance novels; she enjoyed thrift shopping and loved her home. Mary was independent, funny, spirited but tough, and known as a spitfire. She was the matriarch of her family, and she loved them dearly. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded by husband, Raymond M. Arrington; children, Herbert Arrington, Mary Ann Pettay, Raymond Arrington, Dennis and David Arrington; parents, Lester and Gracia Eubank; siblings, Bernard and Herbert Eubank and Bonnie Mitchell. Mary is survived by son, Randall (Wanda) Arrington, 22 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; 38 great-great grandchildren, and daughter-in-law, Becky Arrington. Visitation 2-6 p.m. with family receiving from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 26th and Funeral service 3 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2017 both at Resthaven Mortuary.
