Mary K. Dickenson

Dickenson, Mary Kathryn “Katy,” 96, departed this earth on Wednesday, July 30, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dickenson. Survivors include a sister and brother, Walsie Gearhart and Jerry Adcock; 3 children, Barbara Miller, Richard Dickenson, Ginny Hiltner; 5 grandchildren, Elizabeth & Mark Dickenson, Mike & David Snavely, Alison Hiltner; 5 great-grandchildren, Jenifer McKibban, Kyle, Chase & Sadie Snavely; 1 great-great-grandchild, Vance Snavely. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 3 between 4 and 6 p.m. at Hillside Funeral Home East. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 4, at 11 a.m. at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1824 N. Oliver St. Katy will be remembered as a loving, compassionate wife, mother, grandmother and loyal friend. She had a generous spirit and wonderful sense of humor. Memorial contributions in Katy’s name will be made to Hillside Christian Church, 8330 E. Douglas Ave, Wichita, Kansas 67206.
