

Lemons, Mary “Ruth”, 83, of Andover, KS passed away on Sat. Mar. 21, 2015 in Tulsa, OK. Mary was born on Oct. 13, 1931 in Lebanon, OK the daughter of James Roy and Lillie (Parker) Devin. Ruth and William “Bill” Lemons were united in marriage on June 6, 1947 in Canyon, TX. Together they celebrated 57 years of marriage. Ruth served alongside Bill at numerous Churches of Christ in TX, NE, Belgium and finally serving over 25 years in McPherson, KS. Ruth was an accomplished special education teacher for many years. Her true passion was being a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Lorilla Farris and beloved grandson Brian Lemons. Survivors include her loving children, Linda (Ron) Magnusson, Connie (Larry) Zinck, Dr. Stephen (Loretta) Lemons, brothers J.R. (Roberta) Devin, Glenn (Polly) Devin, sister Geneva (George) Robinson, grandchildren Eric (Natalie) Magnusson, Krista (Nic) Broyles, Nathan (Sara) Zinck, Daniel Zinck, Andrew Zinck, Jonathan (Ashlyn) Zinck, Chris (Jennifer) Lemons, Jenae (Kevin) Crowley, Brad Lemons and Kellie (Jaydan) Bird, great-grandchildren, Melaina, Zoë and Evelyn Magnusson, Grayson Broyles, Samuel Zinck, Caleb, Noah and Calla Crowley and her beloved dog and constant companion Nellie. Visitation will be held on Thurs. Mar. 26, 2015 from 6 to 8pm at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Funeral services will be 10:30am on Fri. Mar. 27, 2015 at East Point Church of Christ, 747 N. 127th St. E., Wichita. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita.
