Rains, Mary Jane, 88, retired Sears sales clerk passed away June 17, 2012. Mary Jane was an aircraft worker during WWII and volunteered for U.S.O. She became an accomplished painter. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Willis “Blackie” Rains and 6 sisters. Her survivors are son, Mauri (Theresa) Rains of Derby; daughters, Candace Timpanelli of Merchantville, NJ, LaRue (Craig Robbins) Rains of Lakewood, CO; brothers, Herb Reekers of Sheldon, IA, Lynn (Sylvia) Reekers of Council Bluffs, IA,; sister, Gladys Dailey of Aurora, CO; grandchildren, Nick Timpanelli, Vincent Timpanelli, Angela Roman, Anthony Timpanelli, Carrie Rains, William Rains; great grandchildren, Maria Roman, Louis Roman, Joseph Timpanelli, Christopher Timpanelli and Taegan Timpanelli. Visitation with family is Thursday 6 to 8 pm and funeral service is 1:00 pm Friday, June 22 at Resthaven Mortuary. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the American Parkinson Association.
