Will miss Mary Lee.  Always enjoyed seeing her, George, and our favorite KS cousins.  She reminded me of my mother - a great compliment!  They wrote letters back and forth to keep up with the families - a lost art in these days of cyber correspondence.  A very kind and caring woman.  Sorry we couldn't be there for her.

We remember Mary fondly - always smiling, working to help St Margaret Mary in all its endeavors as a young parish and school. We loved her and know that she is in heaven!

This is the poem dad, Stephen Schneider, wrote for his mom.

I wrote this poem awhile back for mom and thought you would like it.

                                                Who is my mom?

Who is my mom?, you may ask,
But to answer this, is no simple task.
Mom's birth in Missouri, was many years ago,
But to tell the truth, Where? I don't really know.
She was raised and lived in Clifton City,
A small country town outside Sedalia Missouri.
She had beautiful wavy auburn hair and has eyes of green-blue.
Although small as a child, I think she grew to reach 5 foot 2.
This petite country girl from Clifton is named Mary Lee!
She fell in love with George, as God meant it to be.
They wed and moved west to southern Kansas.
Making a loving home and filling it with us.
What can I say, that hasn't been said already?
Mom was more than a mom to me, and so so many.
She done all the mom things that moms tend to do.
But not just for her kids,but lots of others too.
I don't know how many times I've heard tell
Others call her their mom: Maybe you as well?
Mom had gotten smaller over the many many years,
Due to her giving of herself and shedding many many tears.
I'm sorry to say that myself and Les, my little brother,
Are mostly the cause of this incredible shrinking Mother.
Although she may look short to you and me,
In God's Eyes, she's a Giant Warrior as bif as a tree.
I could keep writing of mom and things to say,
But I'm almost out of ink and it could take all day.
Who is my mom? I'll tell you so.
She's the best mom!  Now you know!

Les and family - Please know that we thought a lot of Mary and know she will be missed. We send our regrets that we couldn't make it to the rosary due to weather...we really wanted to be there...

I will always remember our special talks and our tea parties we had. We will miss you very much.Thoughts and prayers to all of the families. We all have a very special guardian angel watching over us.

She will be missed by everybody that knew her, she was such a joyful soul, always quick with a smile and cheerful greeting. We will  pray for her and hope she puts in a good word for us!

To my Schneider cousins, their spouses, and their babies.  You have all been in my thoughts and prayers since Saturday.  Your Mom has been my Mom also for over 20 years now as each time I was with her, I had Beulah next to me.  It was always a joy to be with her and my last visit a few weeks ago, I am now so very thankful that I got to see her.  Love you all!!

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family, remembering a wonderful sister in law.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Schnieder family.  Mary was a wonderful person.  I worked with her at Steffen's Dairy up until she retired, and we still remained in contact afterwards.  Mary will be greatly missed.  I'm sure there is an even bigger smile on her face today.

Dear Schneider family,
Your mom was a very sweet woman and always had a smile on her face.  You are all in my prayers.  May God grant you the strength, comfort, and peace that you need at this time.

Our deepest sympathies to all of the family.  Your mom was so great, she could make you feel good when down, or just make you laugh to see you smile.  She was so full of love, you guys were the reason she lived.  Even though she has passed and now with uncle George, grandpa and grandma and all of her brothers and sisters, you do not have to worry, she will be keeping a good eye on all of you, cause that is just how she loved you all.
