So sorry to hear of Tony's passing! I worked with him for several years and he always found a way to make me smile! He was a great man who loved his family very deeply.

Betty, Joe,Liz, and family:
I am saddened as many are.  Your dad always took the time to visit with me and we would talk about sports,especially his beloved pittsburgh steelers. I just ran into your father at Towne West on May 30th and we talked for 20 minutes. He told me how proud he was of Joe and his promotion. He then gave me his tight & strong handshake and said he was gonna keep fighting like hell. God I am so thankful we got to visit one last time.  I loved him and always admired him.  I, like many, will miss him.  A true "man's man". God is welcoming one of his best in Mauro Bott.

and we would go have a cup of coffee. Joe, he was very proud you were a Trooper.

One of the nicest people I have ever met. A perfect gentlemen. Tony touched so many lives in a positive way. We all benefited from knowing him. A tremendous loss.

My heart goes out to the family. I knew Tony for a long time I was a dispatcher for 33 years and talked with Tony many times,I retired in 1998  Many fond times.

Tony was always the other grandpa to my sons and will be missed by all.  He was a wonderful person to work for and with and he will be remembered as such.  Prayers to the family.

I remember Tony quite well.  I remember the times he came to see Betty at the Fourth National Bank Branch at McConnell.  I worked with her there in the mid 70's.  My deepest sympathy to the entire family.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. When I first moved to Kansas in the early 70's I was an uncertain 12 year old not knowing what to expect. The Botts were one of the first families we were to meet and they immediately made us feel welcome. That first fall "Tony" helped coach our youth football team. He was rough and tough and he taught us discipline and teamwork. Throughout the years of our youth he was always a role model to all of us and we all respected him greatly. He made each of us a better person. Thank you "Mr. Bott". I can still hear him making fun of our "beads", it was the 70's after all. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. God bless.
