Max Eugene Crask

Max graduated from high school on May 22, 1952. He later served in the Army and was stationed in Hamburg, Germany. After his military service, Max built a career in sales and marketing with Superior Supply Heating and Air Conditioning, bringing the same reliability and care to his work that he offered in every part of his life.

Max was first married to Nadine Parnell from 1955 until her passing in 2000. In 2001, he married Charlene Fischer, and they shared their lives together until 2026. Max was an amazing and caring husband, father, and grandfather.

In his personal time, Max found simple, lasting joy in fishing and gardening—pastimes that reflected his patience, appreciation for life’s seasons, and the calm presence he brought to those around him. He was a member of Country Acres Baptist Church, where his faith was lived faithfully and respectfully within his community.

Max is survived by his beloved wife, Charlene Crask; his children, Randy (Ann), Dan, and Karen (Shaun); his step-sons, Paul (Ruth) and Bruce (Staci); his sisters, Sandy and Judy; his grandchildren, Brett, Trent, Lauren, Megan, Alex, Zac, Laura, Carolyn, Cory, Megan, and Andrew; and 11 great grandchildren.

Max was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Nadine Parnell; his father, Wade; his mother, Bessie; and his brothers, Peter, Bob, Arlie, and Phillip.

A Funeral Service will be held at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209, on September 2, 2026 at 10:00 am.

A Committal Service will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
