Merle Charles Kerr

Merle C Kerr., 88, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012. Merle was born in Deer Creek, Oklahoma the son of John and Sadie (Landis) Kerr. He was WWII Veteran and served in the U.S. Navy. Merle worked as a Tube Developer at Boeing for 18 years and retired from Learjet after 24 years. On September 14, 1944 Merle married Geneva E. Schellenberg, The love of his life. He is survived by Geneva, and sons; Larry (Pat) Kerr, Milan (Judy) Kerr daughter; Jody Kerr- Farguhar, 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation 1-7p.m Friday, May 25, 2012, family will be present from 5-7p.m. at Hillside Funeral Home East, 935 N Hillside, Wichita. Funeral Service 10:00a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Family Church, 11135 West Kellogg Street, Wichita. In lieu flowers memorials can be sent to Family Church attention Kids Town. Burial will follow at Lamont Cemetery in Lamont, Oklahoma.
