Merlene Fay (Branch) Hays, age 86, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Merlene was born September 28, 1937, in Arkansas City, Kansas to Minnie Fay (Alsip) Branch and Merle Kenneth Branch.
Merlene is survived by her daughters, Vickie Lynn (Hays) Nevins (Randy) and Tracy Joann Hays (Billy Hall Jr); and grandchildren, Madelynn Fay (Nevins) Butler, Nathaniel Ryan Nevins, Myranda Joann (Nevins) Parker and Nigel Jamal Hall.
Merlene was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Edward Hays; son, LCPL Phillip Edward Hays; mother, Minnie Fay (Alsip) Branch; father, Merle Kenneth Branch; sister, Donna May (Branch) Maltby; and brother, Charles Leroy Branch.
Private Services were held for Merlene.
