

Michael Dean Deuschle December 25, 1967 – June 15, 2017 Michael married Julie Brandt Chapman and they had two children, Tasha and Kenneth. Later they divorced and Michael remarried. Michael married Dawnna (Thurber) Deuschle and to this marriage added two step children, Heather Thurber and Justin Winters. Unexpectantly, Dawnna, the love of his life, passed away on 3/3/02. Michael then married Tessa Kessel and they together had a daughter, Chelsey Kessel and a step daughter, Sierra Thomas. They divorced but continued to live together due to Chelsey’s medical needs and to co-parent their daughter Chelsey. Michael grew up between Rock Rapids, IA and Worthington, MN area as a child, later moving with his family to areas where his mother was stationed in the military for the US Army. Michael had settled in the Kansas area until returning to Sioux Falls, SD for a few years, where he had worked for the city of Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation Department. He then moved with his family to Oakridge, TN. where he had a great liking for his present job of rebuilding homes. Michael has always had a passion for taking things apart and putting things back together. When he was younger, he had a great finesse for working on bikes and building models, which his son Kenny still has a great collection of. These past few years, Michael had a great endeavor and adventure which led him to RC Vehicles. He was a member of the RRW Krawlzone Tennessee and had won many awards. Michael was also involved in building new trails. This fall, there will be a dedication in October to the Krawl Trail named after Michael that he and Drew Turner were creating. Michael is survived by his Mother Betty Jane Deuschle, Daughter Tasha (Sean) Manning and Granddaughters Halli, Montanna, and Sydney. Son Kenneth Deuschle and Fiancée’ (Sierra Sylva) Granddaughter Kyleigh Thooft, Stepdaughter Heather Thurber, Stepson Justin Winters and Grandchildren Eric Winters, Amara Marler, Aurora Winters, Axiel Schippmann, and Harper Thooft. Sisters Wendy (James) Timmerman, Kimberly Doeksen, Kendra (Bruce) Smith, and Kathryn Meyer and many Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, and Uncles. He is proceeded in Death by his Father, Kenneth Deuschle, Wife Dawnna Deuschle, Wife Tessa Kessel, Daughter Chelsy Kessel, Grandparents John (Jack) and Evelyn Deuschle, Garrit (Duke) and Minnie Doeksen, Betty Teal, and Niece Darcie Deuschle.
