Michael G. McFarland

Michael graduated from Wichita North high school in 1969. After he graduated he worked for Southwestern-Bell/AT&T as a collections representative until retirement.

He enjoyed theatre, watching movies, singing karaoke, collecting art, and listening to Jazz/Swing/Big Band music. He was very outgoing, enjoyed discussing politics and history. He never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, life partner Ron Crawford, and one nephew Anthony Gile.

He is survived by two sisters, Tina Hopkins and Katrina Gile; and niece Pamela Drown, nephew Bryan Hopkins, niece Sara Gile and many cousins, relatives, and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 1 p.m at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209 following graveside at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
