She was proud to have had a 25 year career as a neurodiagnostic technician. A devoted Christian and pastor's wife, she had a quick sense of humor and loved a good game of dominoes. She enjoyed traveling with her husband of 33 years. A creative spirit, she had an appreciation for the arts and culture, and was herself an artist. Michelle was an advocate for social justice and was proud to be an avid feminist. A music lover, her tastes ran from Joan Baez to Bruno Mars. She was fiercely devoted to and proud of her family.
She is survived by her loving husband and soulmate, Don; her 3 daughters, Darcie (Chad) Walker, Amber Black, Amy Harvey; six grandchildren, Cameron, Xanth, Darrah, Ryan, Elizabeth, and Mallory; 2 great-grandchildren, Atticus and Rosaleigh; and her two sisters, Patricia Dawson and Linda Tidd.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Central Avenue United Methodist Church, 4920 West Central at 11:00 am. The family respectfully requests that masks be worn. A memorial has been established with Central Avenue UMC Music Ministry.
