  I remember when Aunt Mildred and Uncle David and my three cousins would come to visit our family in Baxter Springs. It was always such a pleasure to see them and sometimes we would visit them in Wichita. She was such a friendly sweet lady. Uncle David had sparkling eyes,rosy cheeks and a smile and a laugh that would warm your heart. I hadn't seen them for many years but I do remember and love them still.  
   My sincerest sympathy goes out to the family. May God console and bless each of you.

I was very shocked and sad to learn, a couple days ago, of the passing of my Uncle David and Aunt Mildred, The only contact I have had with them in the past years, was exchanging Christmas cards. I am so sorry for your loss and ours. Deanna Morris

Forever missed....forever loved - by all of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends & family.

It was an honor to have known her and be apart of her life!  She will always be missed and loved!

Grandma was my best friend. I have always been close to her since I was a child. She used to call me her little angel, even as an adult. Now, she's mine looking down upon me.

There are no words to describe the pain of her loss. I helped take care of her for several years, and then visited her often while she was at the Life Care Center in Wichita. However, I did not get a chance to see her when she got transferred. I had planned on surprising grandma with a visit before Christmas, but obviously God had other plans for her. I'm very sad that she will not get to see the book I had published in dedication to grandpa, as that was my gift to her. 

I'm going to miss our hour long conversations. She really enjoyed listening to me and sharing her thoughts, feelings and opinions about anything that we talked about. She loved time spent with her family and to sit outside during the summer where it was warm. I'm going to miss our girls day out, playing games and eating special desserts. She loved her crossword puzzles, watching old movies, ice skating, bowling and her other interests. She was picky about the clothes she wore, but was a traditional, classy lady who liked to look good. She was always beautiful to me. She loved all of her dolls, and I still have the one she made for me as a child, when her and grandpa visited us in PA. 

Grandma was a loving woman in her own way. She was stubborn too and it made for some amusing spits with grandpa. She would always give me this look   off side from grandpa in his chair and it made me laugh every time. 

I have so many memories of grandma that I will always cherish. I know that she lived a good life traveling to many places and doing many things. She worked hard, loved to garden, cook, bake and sow. After being apart from grandpa for 7 months, she can now be with him and rest in peace. 

I love and miss you grandma. You will forever be the best.

If it hadn't been for Wade I would have missed this all together.  Will try and make the service tomorrow.  Thoughts and prayers to all of you.

Mildred was proud of her working days for the local school district.  She loved her family. Now she will be eternally at peace in God's light, hand in hand with her beloved husband. They are both missed.
